Where did you and your Conversation partner meet?
Kylie – We were college roommates! However, it wasn’t until after we were both married and started blogging at the same time that we really grew close. We both got pregnant at the same time and had our first babies one day apart!
Emma – College roommates!
What made you interested in starting a Conversation?
Kylie – We are good friends and already have a passion for documenting our families. However, we don’t talk as much as we probably ought to. I think this will be a great way to combine our mutual interest with keeping up with one another. I think we also have an interesting dynamic in that Emma is a mother of three girls, and I have two boys.
Emma – It’s actually something I had never heard of before it was posted in the Stories of Home group on Facebook but I love the idea of communicating through photography and getting to know someone through photography.
What excites you about joining The Photography Conversation Project?
Kylie – I know I am excited to have some accountability for a project and I think this is a more unique concept than some other projects. I’m hoping to grow my storytelling skills more as well.
Emma – I am excited about falling in love with photography even more as I take the time to see and feel the emotion behind photographs rather than just giving them a second glance as I scroll quickly past on my phone.
