Jyotsna Bhamidipati & Carrine Powers

Where did you and your Conversation partner meet?
We met in an online Photographer/Artist support group.

What made you interested in starting a Conversation?
Jyo – I got interested in the project and it was very timely to partner up with someone who’s work I am in love with; while also helping me to work more on my storytelling aspect. I am also hoping to start my first 365 in 2017 and this would be the perfect opportunity.

Carrine – When the opportunity to start a conversation came up, it fell perfectly in line with goals I have set for myself in 2017. Being part of a project, starting and finishing a 365 and getting in the frame more often.

What excites you about joining The Photography Conversation Project?
JyoWorking with another photographer helps you to understand how the other person might view the same concept or theme in a different view. Not every person views the world around them the same way. Learning about their life through the lens in a conversational way is something that really got me excited. Hoping this leads to growth and friendship as well.

Carrine – Working with another photographer in the community as well as seeing other’s perspectives. The journey will be like nothing else I’ve done. Positive growth. Accountability.
