Courtney Kirkland, Anne Rowell & Lori McCurdy

Where did you and your Conversation partner meet?
Courtney – Lori & I met through the writing community last year and Anne I just recently met through the Facebook group for your Stories of Home enthusiasts.

Anne – I met both conversation partners through Stories of Home FB group.

Lori – I met Anne in Stories of Home and Courtney and I were in a writing class together last winter.

What made you interested in starting a Conversation?
Anne – I am interested in joining a conversation to push myself to go a little deeper and become more intentional with my photography.  I have always had an interest in taking pictures and photography but it hasn’t been until the last couple of years that I have really started to pursue it more vigorously which has in-turn only made me more passionate about it.

Lori – I’m personally challenging myself this year to grow as an artist and take new leaps that may feel slightly out of my comfort zone. I also realize i need and desire community with like minded artists and other creatives so that’s why I chose to take on this project

What excites you about joining The Photography Conversation Project?
Courtney – I’m looking forward to joining the conversation project as a way to challenge myself both creatively and in terms of disciplining myself to shoot more intentionally.

Anne – I’m excited to collaborate with each of my partners to see where this “conversation” leads us over the next year.  I’m also grateful for the opportunity to meet (even if it’s only online) others with the same passion towards this project and to be able to encourage and learn from each other.

Lori – Well that again goes with the above..but mostly my own personal growth and finding my voice and utilizing it well to the best of my ability.
